2016 Toyota Avalon

Stylish Elegance

THE 2016 AVALON RETURNS AS A MINOR MODEL CHANGE, BOASTING UPGRADED STYLING AND EVEN MORE STANDARD FEATURES TO COMPLEMENT ITS BOLD DESIGN AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY.

Why buy a 2016 Toyota Avalon?

For 2016, the Avalon returns with updated styling, including a redesigned front grille with narrow upper grille (Avalon Touring features a unique and sporty front fascia), newly-designed turn signals that replace fog lights, refined LED taillights with smoked lenses, and a chrome rear bumper accent. In addition, a new XLE Plus grade is introduced for both gas and Hybrid to complement the Avalon lineup and appeal to a wider variety of owners. For Avalon gas, this grade is the second grade after XLE (base grade), and in hybrid models it is the base grade.

Bold And Athletic Styling

Avalon's sleek exterior attracts lots of welcome attention, appearing both athletic and elegant, with a low and wide appearance creating an aggressive stance. Quadrabeam headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), color-keyed heated power outside mirrors with turn signal indicators and manual folding feature, and smoked LED taillights all add to a strong presence and express innovative identity.

Advanced Technology

For 2016, Avalon continues to introduce even more advanced technology features to the lineup. All grades now include a standard 7-inch touch-screen display and navigation capabilities with Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation App (Scout GPS Link) now standard on XLE and XLE Plus. In addition, Toyota's all-new safety package, Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) is available on Limited grades (gas and Hybrid).

Excellent Fuel Economy Ratings

The 2016 Avalon holds EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings8 of 21 city, 31 highway and 24 combined; Avalon Hybrids hold EPA-estimated ratings of 40 city, 39 highway and 40 combined. And with Normal, Sport and ECO Driving Modes as well as paddle shifters now standard on all Avalon gas models, Avalon provides an exciting blend of fun-to-drive performance and efficiency.

Top-Class Interior Cabin Roominess

Avalon's cabin provides front and rear occupants with ample space, and Avalon’s power adjustable front seats offer a great range of leg room adjustability, all culminating in a comfortable ride for every seating position.

High-Quality Interior

A combination of available premium leather on the steering wheel, shift knob and seat upholstery along with wood-grain-patterned and smoked-chrome accents creates an environment that is both pleasing to the eye and to the touch. Decorative stitching on the steering wheel, as well as the dashboard and door panels, adds to the interior's luxurious feel.

Top-Class Noise/Vibration, Ride and Handling Performance

Avalon retains its quiet, isolated interior with strategically placed sound-deadening materials, including an acoustic glass windshield and front side glass. Avalon also features a body optimized for noise reduction, and these features help make Avalon’s cabin an exceptionally quiet and comfortable environment.
